James Melvin Swanson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017.
Predeceased by his parents, Melvin & Jane (VanEtten) and sister, Patricia Chatburn.
Jim will be deeply missed by his loving family, brother, Robert (Judy) and sisters, Nancy Kaplan and Linda (Richard) Anderson, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, March 31, 2017, at The Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church.
A special thanks to the staff of Fairview Hospice for the love and care given to Jim.
