Barbara A. (Edberg) Swanson, age 81 of Brooklyn Center.
Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, James “Jim” Swanson; brothers, Donald "Donnie" Edberg, Dale Edberg,& Clifton "Cliffy" Edberg and half-brother, Ronald Bernard.
Survived by son, Alan (Shashi) Swanson; daughter, Rita (Kevin) Skar; grandchildren, Brandon Swanson, Amanda Friedl, & Ryan Friedl; siblings, Margaret (Bud) Peterson, Thomas "Tommie" (Tina) Edberg, Rodney "Ronnie" Edberg, Jackie (Virginia) Edberg, Ordean Edberg, & Wanda (Jim) Huerd; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 4PM Saturday Dec. 17th, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to the family.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also.
