Robert “Bob” Healy, age 70 of Minneapolis, passed away suddenly on 3/16/17. Bob proudly served in the US Marine Corps and 34 years as a Sheriff’s Deputy. Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend. Survived by wife, Sheryl; children, Mike, Jenny (Bjorn) Simpson, Tyler, Danni; grandson, Gunnar; sister, Cathy (Lou) Ashfeld; nephew, Daniel (Erica) Ashfeld; niece, Sarah Ashfeld; and many other relatives & friends. Funeral Service 11AM Tuesday March 21, 2017 at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, 21705 129th Ave N., Rogers, MN with visitation 4-8PM Monday March 20, 2017 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, MN and 1 hour prior to the service at church Tuesday. Interment at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in Osseo, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead.
