Horn, Linnette G., age75 of Maple Grove, went to be with Jesus and live in her eternal home 6-23-2017. She was welcomed by her parents, Russell and Louella Tomlinson; and granddaughter, Brittney VanHavermaet. She is survived by her loving Husband, Tom Horn, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; 1 sister; 2 sister-in-law’s and 1 brother-in-law. Michelle (Paul), Matt (Melissa), Britton & Emerick VanHavermaet; Mark (Lynn), Gina & Samantha Horn; Melanie (John), Stephanie (Justin) Wyatt, Brooklyn, Tyson & Erik (Angela) Gilbert; Melissa (Karl), Lea & Faith Larson. Linnette was born 7-11-1941 in Minneapolis, MN to Russell & Louella Tomlinson and baptized in Lake Washington from the Church of Christ in Dassel, MN. She attended Dassel, Verndale, and Osseo schools and graduated from Osseo Senior High in 1959. Linnette married Tom 1-7-1961 in Brooklyn Center, MN. They have been married 56 years. She loved being a Mother, Grandmother and homemaker; and really enjoyed working at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN for 21 years. She felt very fortunate to have had many good friends. A special thank you to north Memorial Hospice, University of MN Oncology, Dr. Geller, Donna and staff as well as Dr. Lager and staff for all their wonderful care. Memorial Service 11AM Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Advent Lutheran Church (9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove) with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance (4604 Chicago Ave., Minneapolis, 55407; 612-822-0500)

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
