Bolstad, L. Karen,
Age 78 of Brooklyn Center, born March 25, 1939 and passed away peacefully August 5, 2017. Karen was a passionate and loving sister, aunt and friend. Preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd & Sylvia Bolstad. Survived by her sister, Ione Olson; nephews, Shane & Dusty Olson; niece, Tonya Karen Olson. She was a proud member of the Teacher’s Sorority (Alpha Delta Kappa), Brooklyn Historical Society, volunteer at the Humane Society, faithful member of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church for 54 years and a teacher for the Robbinsdale School District for 35 years. Memorial service 11AM Thursday Aug. 17, 2017 at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church (5929 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center) with visitation one-hour prior. Private interment Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet, MN.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. Evans-Nordby was recommended to us by our Priest and I’m so glad he did. From the moment I talked to Tina on the phone I could tell we were in good hands as she took care of every detail. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead.
