Obituary for Kimberly Moe

Kimberly Moe, age 43, Of Otsego, formerly of Fridley, MN. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 16, 2017.

Survived by husband, Scott and daughters, Makayla and Izzy. Also survived by parents, Dennis and Eloise Roelke of Fridley, MN; sister, Shirley Barone; in-laws, Ron and LeAnn Moe; sister-in-law, Shannon (Brian) Madsen; nephews, Nicholas and Trever; and nieces, Abigail and Paige.

Kimberly grew up in Fridley and graduated from Coon Rapids Senior High School. She attended St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN where she received both her B.A. (1996) and Masters (2001) in teaching. She worked at Edinbrook Elementary in Osseo and Fair Oaks Elementary in Brooklyn Park as both a Kindergarten and 2nd grade teacher. Teaching was both her passion and her true calling. She loved her students and put her heart and soul into helping them learn, grow and discover. Kim loved horseback riding with her girls and doing karate with her family. She loved going up to Duluth and she loved Winter and Christmas time like no other. She loved decorating to the hilt and watching Hallmark Christmas movies- well before Thanksgiving. Kim put her whole heart into everything she did- her family, her friends, her students and her co-workers. We will dearly miss her compassion and her infectious smile, her laugh and her fantastic sense of humor. We love you.
