Through the ages customs have changed, but our tradition of caring
for people in their time of need has remained the same. For almost
100 years, the Evans-Nordby Funeral Homes have served their communities
with compassion and concern at a time of need. It continues to do
so by providing all types of funeral services, including pre-need
arrangements, pre-financed arrangements, pre-financed funeral trusts
and cremations.
Evans-Nordby has been serving families for almost 100 years. The
firm was started in Osseo as a furniture store and funeral home
by John Evans in 1904. In 1952, Keith and Charlotte Nordby purchased
the funeral home portion of Evans' business. In 1962, the funeral
home in Brooklyn Center was completed. Kent Nordby and Tom Weber,
a long-time employee, purchased the funeral homes in 1990. For almost
100 years, Evans-Nordby has been family-owned and dedicated to serving
families the the Twin Cities.
